Responsible Gaming

Before

Decide the amount you are willing to spend before you start, and treat that money as already spent the moment you place it down. This removes the pressure of watching a balance and makes stopping a non-event rather than a decision you have to make under strain. Never use borrowed money for gambling: a loss that comes out of money you did not have to lose in the first place tends to push people toward chasing it back, which is how a manageable loss becomes an unmanageable one. If a session stops feeling like entertainment and starts feeling like something you need to fix, that is the moment to involve someone else rather than continue alone.

During

A loss is just a loss until you try to chase it. Chasing turns one bad outcome into a pattern, because the stake usually has to grow to cover the previous one. Taking a break part-way through a session, even a short one, gives you a chance to notice whether you are still enjoying yourself or just continuing out of momentum. None of this depends on any tool switching itself on for you: it works because you decide in advance to do it and then follow through.

  • Set your amount and stop when you reach it, win or lose.
  • Walk away after a loss instead of trying to win it back immediately.
  • Take a break at a fixed point rather than waiting until you feel like stopping.
  • Tell someone else what is happening as soon as gambling stops feeling like fun.

Support

This site carries links to three independent gambling-help organisations — begambleaware.org, gamblingtherapy.org, gamcare.org.uk — on this page and on every other page of the site. Those links are the only outbound links here that are not commercial: they carry no sponsored marking, they are set to nofollow, and they open in a separate tab on the organisations' own websites. This site receives nothing when a reader follows them.

The eighteen-and-over restriction appears throughout this build, including on the front page and at the end of every operator listing. Each of the ten operator listings also ends with the same line: check availability and the current terms at the destination before claiming anything, because eligibility rules and terms apply there and can change without notice.

Limits

Controls such as deposit caps, loss caps, reality checks, cooling-off periods or self-exclusion belong to an operator account. This build has no account, no form and no server-side application, so nothing published here can switch one of those controls on, check its status or enforce it. Anyone who wants such a control has to set it up inside an account at the destination, once they arrive there.

Nobody's age is verified on this site and no gambling takes place on it; any check of that kind happens at the destination after an operator link is followed. No advertising or behavioural profiling network is present in these pages, so nothing here is targeted at a reader based on risky behaviour. Everything a reader can actually do with money happens after leaving this site: each operator link redirects to a third party, and from that point the destination's own rules, checks and account controls apply, not anything published here.
